Shadows + Angles – Whimsy + Awe | Beauty In The Everyday

Today I took the time to to capture the lines and shadows around my apartment building. They are the little details of my everyday life. The shapes and shadows that draw my attention and give me feelings of whimsy and awe. Strange the simple things that impact our daily lives.

No matter the time of day, the rails in my apartment catch the light in a way that feels magical to me. I often feel silly, the way the world seems so dreamy to me, while others just walk by as if this beauty is nothing to them.

Odd the way a line of shadow falling at my feet can shift my mood and bring a tilt of happiness to my lips.

Angles and lines often catch my eye and when coming out of my elevator I often keep my eye on the coming spot as I walk by. Architecture seems to be an endless fascination to me.
